This new edition of Nelson Science provides a practical and activity-based approach to teaching and learning Primary science. Nelson Science Starter level is designed to be a fun and accessible introduction to the subject for pupils from a range of backgrounds, preparing them for studying science at Primary level. Make learning science fun for young learners with these colourful write-in workbooks. Encourage children to work independently, in pairs or as a class with a range of activities which support early skills - from observations about the world around us to simple experiments. Use together with Workbook B and Workbook C to provide at least three full terms of work, which progressively develop children's knowledge and confidence. Dr. Anthony Russell is the author of many primary science courses and has extensive teaching experience throughout the world. He has taught in Europe and Africa and spent two years in central Asia working on a science curriculum development project for primary schools in the region.
