NeoWhimsies for Beginners: 10 NeoPopRealism Ink Drawing Projects

A book “NeoWhimsies for Beginners: 10 NeoPopRealism Ink Drawing Projects” invites you to learn how to draw the imaginative ink images - NeoWhimsies. The common use of a term ‘Imagination’ in arts is for the process of drawing new images that have not been previously experienced with the help of what has been seen before or at least only partially or in different combinations. Serge E. Mikhailov, the illustrator of this book, confessed that to him imagination is equal to memory and that he can “imagine” only things he sees in life. Unfortunately, the majority of people have lack of imagination. This book is a try to unlock the students’ imagination and to help discover new dimension in visual arts. We hope it will be your step forward as it was a first step for Serge E. Mikhailov. This book is intended for beginners.
