Net Zero Building: Materials, Methods and Designing: Proposing a Net Zero Building Design for Residence using Solar Panel System

Buildings have a significant impact on energy use and the environment. The building Industry is striving to reduce energy consumption and minimize the environmental impact of all buildings.. This focus has gained momentum in recent years. Houses have always represented a manageable opportunity for trying out new concepts and confirming performance. Zero-energy buildings are built with significant energy-saving features. The heating and cooling loads are lowered by using high-efficiency equipment, added insulation, high-efficiency windows, natural ventilation, and other techniques. These features vary depending on climate zones in which the construction occurs. Zero energy buildings can be independent from the energy grid supply. The earth is facing potential energy crises. It was this awakening that had lead the researcher to carry the research on net zero buildings: its materials, methods and construction. Civil engineers and architects are the pioneers in building industry and can foster towards reducing global warming by designing buildings that are ecologically safe to the environment.
