Revised edition, 1982. Full page colour plates and black and white text illustrations throughout. One corner rubbed and slightly frayed, some other rubbing to the edges. The dustwrapper is slightly creased and very slightly torn. Still generally a good copy. This edition has a very large section at the end illustrating known artists. The best edition of this book and the standard reference on the subject.
