About the Author
Daniel Capano is a control systems engineer at the firm of Malcolm Pirnie. He has more than a dozen years of experience in instrumentation and control systems in a number of large projects, including New York City's sludge dewatering plant and the Boston Harbor Project. He is also a former ISA president. Brian J. McPartland is an electrical consultant and editor of Electrical Design and Installation magazine. He is also coauthor of several popular electrical guides, including Handbook of Electrical Construction Calculations, Second Edition; Handbook of Practical Electrical Design; and McGraw-Hill's National Electrical Code Yearbook.
