Neurophysiological Basis of Movement

A text for a one-semester course on the neurophysiology of voluntary movement, incorporating relevant information from the study of biomechanics, anatomy, control theory, and motor disorders. Material is divided into five sections on cells, connections, structures, behaviors, and disorders. Topics are applied to specific tasks such as standing, locomotion, eye movement control, and reaching.
