Hilarious and heartwarming stories of outdoor mishaps and misadventures from the beloved five-time New York Times bestselling humorist, Patrick F. McManus, "a writer who makes people laugh out loud, hard" (The New York Times).
In Never Sniff a Gift Fish, McManus regales the reader with memories of receiving his first hatchet from his parents and losing his hunting equipment to a burglar. This collection of twenty-eight hysterical stories are "amusing even for those who'd never dream of lifting rod or rifle" (Kirkus Reviews).
Including such classic stories as "I Fish; therefore I Am," "The Night Grandma Shot Shorty," and "Poof―No Eyebrows!"
