Large octavo with tan wraps and black spine, 96 p., XII leaves of plates: maps (some fold.); 26 cm. Scarce in this paperback edition. Interesting maps and historical descriptions, along with a sort of index of terms and names. Genealogy, geography, and scripture collide in this book that has been reprinted several times, but not as beautifully as this edition! // Metal-engraved maps drawn and engraved by Edw. Gover. Maps contain references to colored boundaries. Maps hand-colored under the care of the publisher "The Scripture gazeteer."--Page [79]-96 Atlases (Geographic) 1853, Bible, Bible Geography, Bible G?ographie, Geography. In good (+) condition, pages are unmarked; wraps are a tad darkened and damp-stained with front wrap lifting off slightly; cloth tape on spine shows wear (easily repaired); pages show some dampstaining and foxing, but nothing that hinders legibility. Please see photos. Sold as is.
