Partial or complete loss of various maps and illustrations, including to much of the frontispiece. Tears and losses to title page, including the year of publication on bottom. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. An extremely scarce work on worldwide geography and its people. Includes an extensive description of the United States, with a foldout map present that does not include the Louisiana Purchase territories acquired in 1803.
