Through taking the leap into the unexplored parts of yourself those stagnant places within you will free up and your connection to yourself, others, and the world around you will grow. May you feel stretched and strengthened and renewed. May you exit your comfort zone and enter the world with a fiercely open mind and heart!
About the Author
Chantel C. Lucier, NBCR, RM, CMT, was born in San Francisco to an eclectic family of Mexican, Norwegian, and Italian performers and musicians. She carries a BA from Mount Holyoke College and an MFA from the Actors Studio Drama School in New York.
While Chantel followed the family tradition and became a dancer, singer, and actor, she moved to New York City in 2001 and discovered the myriad benefits of reflexology and reiki. In 2007, Chantel became a national board certified reflexologist and soon thereafter a reiki master.
Her company, The AtHome Experience, is dedicated to educating and enlivening the individual towards a greater connection to themselves, each other, and their community. Through sessions, classes, videos, and books, The AtHome Experience empowers people to create and sustain optimal health. While reflexology is a specialized field, Chantel shows us how the techniques can be easily learned to use at home. By caring for ourselves and each other, we construct and co-create a better future.
While maintaining good health and caring for one's self and others is foundational to happiness, Chantel also realized that spurring creativity and new understanding of the world around us also is crucial. And thus, she has been exploring something new every day since 2014. The resulting experiences and awakenings were transformational and profound, and they inspired her to share a journeying guide for others.
Chantel has been featured in numerous articles and television/video programs, including Gwenyth Paltrow's GOOP, Jill Urban's Wellness Report, Organic Spa Magazine, Well & Good, New You, Yahoo Beauty, the Dr. Steve Show, and Howcast's 50+ DIY videos on reflexology. She shares videos on her YouTube channel: YouTube.com/chantellucier. To see her adventures in doing something new every day, follow her on Instagram @Something.New.Every.Day.
