Light soiling and shelfwear, front hinge cracked, light toning to text, light foxing to a few leaves, library stamp and early owner inscription to title page, library mark to verso. $350. * Only edition. The son of James Iredell, the North Carolina statesman and U.S. Supreme Court justice, James Iredell, Jr. was a distinguished lawyer and governor of North Carolina from 1827 to 1828.
