In good condition, with some light fading and discoloration to exterior. Gilt design on front board nicely preserved. Hinges remain in good condition and text block remains bound well. Light markings at front. Includes color frontispiece plate of pear, tissue guard, and color decorative title. Also includes an assortment of outlines of fruit and other small sketches throughout. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing.

A scarce and nicely preserved copy on popular varieties and types of fruit grown in New England in the mid-19th Century. A great reference tool.
