About the Author

Author Randy Miller is a professional fiddler, piano player, and teacher of traditional New England and Irish music. He has performed nation-wide for contra dances and festivals since the 1970s.

Randy's publications also include Irish Traditional Fiddle Music, The Fiddler's Throne, Oberlin Fever: A Championship Spirit in Black and White, and The Fiddler's Friend: 40 Fiddle Exercises to Improve Fingering and Bowing.
