New England Home

Home is the place where the people you love and have loved you are still there. They might not be still around to be told how much you care but the recesses of the mind hold all things in life so dear and we all have the memories of when we were young and how we lived not only then but throught out all of our lives. This book is about my family but it could be yours. It is so interesting how our lives intersect.

Gloria M. Chartier was born and raised in Mansfield Massachusetts. She married in William in 1953 who died on August 10, 2008. They had 52 years together. They raised 3 children who gave us 8 grandchildren 7 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. They also have 5 great grandchildren with one on the way. Their grandchildren live from Michigan to Lousiana with most of them still in New England. her daughter, lives in Maine and she has one son in Rhode Island with another still in Massachusetts. She now live in Rhode Island but for the previous 15 years she resided in Florida and before that Massachusetts. What qualifies her to be an author? She loves to write and find her best expression in poetry but she has written prose also and thought her next book if this one will be successful, might be about their life as a family. She write about her life, her family, places where she has lived and things she has encounted along the way. She loves nature and the Lord and have included all of her loves in the book. It is entitled "New England Home" and she began it when her children were young so there is about 50 years of work into this. She has been told by many people she should try to get her work published but never thought she would try as it involved money. She really doesn't have but thought she would take a chance on this. She is not really a gambler but thought she would like to get the work in time for Christmas to give to her children and her only sibling.
