Dr. Barbara Ray, Ph.D. holds an interdisciplinary doctorate in the Humanities with majors in Greek, Latin and Art History from Florida State University. She has been initiated into Phi Beta Kappa, is a member of Mensa and attained a Fulbright scholarship in Art History in Italy. Dr. Ray taught at the university level for twelve years before dedicating her time to lecturing, teaching, writing, and helping people from all walks of life in their search for personal growth, transformation, healing and wholing, higher consciousness and Enlightenment.

Dr. Ray is the author of three other books about The Radiance Technique®, Authentic Reiki®: The 'Reiki' Factor in The Radiance Technique®, the first book ever published on this science; The Official Handbook of The Radiance Technique®, Authentic Reiki®; and The Radiance Technique®, Authentic Reiki® -- Managing Stress.
