Cookery works saw a rise of popularity in the eighteenth and nineteenth century, due to the rising literacy rates in the United Kingdom. Written anonymously, attributed only as 'by a lady' to the title page. Rebound in a full cloth binding. Externally, smart. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and generally clean with the odd spot. Very Good Indeed.
