Hardback. Approx 9 x 6.25 inches. Plain green cloth binding with gilt lettering and bird design to bottom of spine. In good condition. Spine faded and cloth faded along edges. Some rubbing and small nicks to cloth on spine ends. Endpapers darkened, bookplate to front ?Henry Hall.? Pages with some tanning, edges rough cut. Some foxing spots to page edges, some occasional handling marks. Else a very nice copy. 336pp. Illustrated with 63 wood-engravings by WALTER CRANE, engraved by W.J. Linton 12 Etchings by Heywood Sumner, & 2 maps (one folding) & 3 plans. Chapters incl.: The Gipsy and the West-Saxon/ The Folk-Lore and Provincialism/ Christchurch/ etc.; The Rufus?s Stone.

cheque / money order in Pound Sterling. Postage, insurance and packing is extra.
Books can be returned within 14 days upon receipt (please let us straight away).
If the book was wrongly described, we will refund your return postage. If you
just changed your mind, we would you expect you to refund our postage to you. We
try to give as careful a description as possible, but we do not mention private
library labels or inscriptions, slight foxing, or very minor other faults -
unless these seriously affect the value of the book.
