Synopsis:
The phonetician of this book believes that phoneme is the smallest unit in composition of language. By four decades of teaching practices, the author boldly breaks the theory, and advocates that although the phoneme is the smallest unit of language, the smallest unit of language imitation is the syllable. If one wants to learn a language, he should be familiar with the basic syllable of language.
