Lovely photographic plates along with black and white photos illustrate the various eras discussed in the text including ancient examples, Sevres, English pottery and others. Wonderful reference work for the pottery or porcelain collector. Very Good condition: several uncut plates in Volume 1 and loose binding between pgs 326-327 but still attached. Volume 2 in equally good condition with all plates intact. Cloth boards with gilt decorations in very Good Condition with just a little missing on the cover of vol 1 and a slight lightening on Vol 2 medallion.
