By Giles Jacob and printed in the Savoy, London, by Henry Lintot. 1743. Unpaginated. 8.25 x 5.5 . 8vo. Hardcover full leather. In fair condition, with scuffing and wear to exteriors, including along edges and corners of boards. Staining remnants to bottom portion of boards and text block. Some cracking to text block around front and rear. Inscribed at front and rear, including by old-hand inscriptions and by stampings. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A scarce law dictionary published by British lawyer Giles Jacob (1686-1744). Repeatedly inscribed by Joshua Clarke of Richmond, Washington County, Rhode Island.
