First U.S. edition bound in blue decorated cloth with gold lettering. Includes beveled edges, frontis plate, teg. 380 pages(a few still uncut). A VG- copy. Frays/small bumps to the corners. Soiling and dusting to the front board. Rubbing to both boards. The spine is faded. Frays and tears to its head and rubbing to its base. Former owner's bookplate is affixed to the front endpaper. Name and date inked on the half-title page. Toning to the page margins.
