The Eastern National Park and Monument Association, Richmond, VA. 1970. Softcover / Plastic Comb Binding /Trade Wraps. Stated Reprint of the 1957 original / Limited Edition; Number 721 of 1,000 Copies. Book is tight, square, and unmarked but for a F/O address label on the title page. Book Condition: Very Good; light soiling to wraps. No DJ. Pictorial card stock wraps. Wraps are not bent or folded; spine is secure in red plastic comb binding; text is secure in binding. 73 pp 4to. Fort Necessity was a small fort in southwestern Pennsylvania that on 3 July 1754 was the site of the first battle between France and England for control of North America that came to be called the French and Indian War. To better interpret the site, the National Park Service began an archaeological exploration in August 1952. This report describes the explorations and interprets the discoveries i the light of available recorded information. A clean very presentable copy.
