Try A New Path: Breaking Free, Growing Beyond Comfort

Are you standing at the edge of change-restless, accomplished, yet unfulfilled?

In Try a New Path: Growing Beyond Comfort, Shanelle Porter-Simmons invites you to stop asking for permission to evolve and start building the life that's been calling you. A retired Marine Corps lieutenant colonel, record-setting athlete, and leadership expert, Porter-Simmons blends story, science, and soul to explore why we cling to conformity, doubt our gifts, and mistake comfort for peace.

Through powerful personal stories-from commanding Marines to releasing old identities-she reveals how courage often begins where certainty ends. Drawing on research from psychology, leadership, and personal growth, she offers a roadmap for reclaiming authenticity, confronting fear, and stepping into your next chapter with faith and confidence.

This isn't a book about change-it's a movement to freedom. If you've ever felt you have more to your story, Try a New Path will remind you that courage doesn't always roar; it whispers, "It's time to move."
