The New Philosophy Of Modern Science (1920)

The New Philosophy of Modern Science is a book written by William Walker Strong and published in 1920. It is a philosophical exploration of the scientific discoveries and advancements of the time, and how they have changed our understanding of the world. Strong argues that modern science has fundamentally altered the way we think about reality, and that this new understanding requires a new philosophical framework. He explores the implications of scientific discoveries in fields such as physics, biology, and psychology, and argues that they challenge traditional philosophical concepts such as causality, determinism, and teleology. Strong also discusses the role of science in society, and how it can be used to address social and moral issues. The book is a thought-provoking exploration of the intersection between science and philosophy, and is still relevant today as we continue to grapple with the implications of scientific discoveries on our understanding of the world. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
