New Plane and Solid Geometry (Classic Reprint)

New Plane Geometry offers a clear, constructive approach to learning geometry. This edition guides students from basic figures to more advanced topics with practical, hands-on methods that emphasize drawing and understanding, not just memorization.

The text includes step-by-step construction directions, color diagrams to show equal parts, and careful notes that connect each diagram to the corresponding theorem. It uses outline proofs in many sections, helping learners develop the ability to reason through problems on their own. The course is organized into a sequence of books that cover plane geometry and then move into solid geometry, with a steady build from basic shapes to more complex figures.

• Clear construction techniques and visual aids to reinforce understanding

• Guided development from elementary theorems to more advanced problems

• Structured exercises, with practical directions and classroom-friendly notes

• A comprehensive pathway from plane geometry to elementary solid geometry for a well-rounded grasp

Ideal for students and teachers seeking a dependable, classroom-tested resource that emphasizes hands-on learning and logical reasoning.
