50 pages, 20 cm x 13 cm. The New Royal Cook Book is the 1922 release of the Royal Baking Powder Company in their line of advertisement recipe booklets. The cover has detailed, full color illustrations of some of the recipes inside, a large change from the 1902 and 1911 Royal Baker and Pastry Cook books this edition replaced. Inside the front page of the book, there is a yellow insert to fill out and send back with the names and addresses of three friends to whom Royal will send the book, free of charge. Laid in are a handwritten recipe for Picallili, a postcard from Stoneham, Massachusetts from 1907, and a recipe for Coffee Bavarian Cream written on a paper from the prescription pad of Dr. M. D. Sheehan. 2 small stains on front page, otherwise very clean.
