About the Author

Yuan Longping was an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering who worked at the Hunan Hybrid Rice Research Center. He established the technical system for super hybrid rice and proposed and implemented a high-yielding project— Planting Three to Produce Four Yield-Increasing Program of Super Hybrid Rice, with the great technical achievements he made in super hybrid rice. Ma Guohui is a senior Hunan Hybrid Rice Research Center research fellow. As a famous agricultural expert engaged in researching high-yielding and high-efficiency cultivation of hybrid rice, he has presided over and participated in more than 20 major national scientific research projects. He has created technical achievements and systems for the high-yielding cultivation of hybrid rice and double-cropping rice cultivation under a three-cropping system.
