A New Theory Of The Steam Engine: And The Mode Of Calculation By Means Of It (1838)

A New Theory of the Steam Engine: And the Mode of Calculation by Means of It is a book written by Francois Marie Guyonneau De Pambour in 1838. The book presents a new theory of the steam engine and the method of calculating its performance using this theory. Pambour's theory is based on the principle of the conservation of energy, which he applies to the steam engine to explain its operation and efficiency. The book includes detailed mathematical calculations and diagrams to support Pambour's theory. It is considered an important work in the history of steam engine technology and engineering. The book is written in English and is aimed at engineers and scientists interested in steam engine technology. And The Mode Of Calculation By Means Of It, Of The Effective Power, Etc.
