No engravings of regional costumes present. Missing pages 149-152. p307 has large open tear with some loss of text. Folding plate heavily creased; mild edge tears. Hinges moderately cracked, exposed netting. Pages notably tanned and foxed throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Pencil and pen markings to front pastedown, rear free endpaper and occasionally margins. Front free endpaper nearly detached. Thumb-marking present. Occasional pressed plant matter with mild stains. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Heavy splits, peeling and loss to spine and corners. Hinges have some pronounced cracking. Spine label almost entirely missing. Heavy wear to boards overall.
