Fleming, Boston, 1765, 74 pp, with 22 pages of sheet music, full original leather, cloth clamshell case, 6.5 x 3.5 , 18mo. In fair condition. Cloth clamshell case light abraded with scuffing at joints. In good working order with minor wear. Gilt title and date on spine. Original leather boards have been restored nicely. Front board has been repaired with brushed leather at bottom edge where it was once missing or rotted. Worming to front board above repair. Joints tender. Spine abraded with slight loss and creasing. Binding exposed. Rear board is rounded at corners. Decorative tooling along edges is apparent along the edges of each board. Beautifully done. Worming to corners of pastedown. Title poor and mostly missing. The restorer has done a nice job of using Japanese paper to fill out the torn title. The gutters have been repaired as well with Japanese paper. Some worming to the first few leaves at top corner. Interior soiled and age-stained. Old hand ownership and notations on rear fly and pastedown. Binding intact. Please see photos. Very scarce. Two works in one. Includes twenty pages of sheet music of church hymnals and songs.
