He was multi-talented, also being a foreign correspondent, parachute jumper, stunt man, airmail pilot, Air Force lieutenant, vaudeville actor, writer, director and producer. From about 1928 to 1935 he was a columnist covering arts and entertainment for the Brooklyn Eagle. Ogden Nash (1902-1971) was an American poet. He was known for his light verse, writing over 500 pieces in that style, as well as for co-writing the pop standard "Speak Low". He was declared the US' most famous humorous poet, for his unconventional rhyming schemes. Features monochrome orange and B&W illustrations by Jay. Includes a foreword by Ogden Nash.
