Presents testimonials, personal stories, essays, poems, and images from a range of contributors about the September 11 terrorist attacks and the acts of heroism and good will in the aftermath of the attacks.

This book is a sad remembrance of the September 11 but also a striking memorial to the victims, the survivors, and the rescue workers. Appropriately and movingly, the victims of September 11--those lost in the World Trade Center and on the two planes that crashed into the twin towers, those lost in the Pentagon and on the plane that crashed into it, and the passengers on the fourth hijacked plane--are listed very simply and eloquently on a multipage spread.
