4to. Stiff color wrappers. 60pp. Illustrations, line drawings, advertisements (some color). Very good. Ever-so-faint vertical fold along center; rear wrapper tear discreetly, expertly, archivally mended. Decent copy (Vol. XX, No. 50) of the famed weekly begun in 1925. Charming front wrapper by Polly Borland shows a snowy rural scene with a smiling pipe-smoking mail carrier handing a V-mail letter at a farm house porch to a woman. Contributors include John O'Hara, Jean Genet and Kenneth Fearing and cartoonists include Charles Addams, Helen Hokinson and George Price.
