Pilot Edition. Paperback. Paper Covers. No publishing date, circa 1990. 10" Tall, 231pp. The Paper Cover is illustrated with a full-color reproduction of a painting which continues from the back cover, skipping the spine, onto the front cover. The dark blue spine has yellow lettering. This is a "pilot publication" for the examination by teachers to vet, prior to publication as a textbook. "The intent of this series is to present a variety of 'texts' from Newfoundland and Labrador to help schools meet a wide range of integrated language arts outcomes. " . The contents of this book include poems, short stories, essays, monologues, songs, and various types of b/w illustrations including drawings, photographs, reproductions, and at least one map. There are scores of authors.
