Ex-library book with the usual stamps, stickers, etc. Binding is solid and text/interior is clean and free of marking of any kind. Four books in red cloth covers with signifigant edge and corner wear and at sides of bindings but still very solid with a few tears to pages, notably at bottom ot title page of volume one, with a 1" tear, half title page V. 2 with 2" tear and weak hinges both front and back; Otherwise, straight, and grease free, from the reference section of the library. Each volume about 570 pages. Brings together all the essential repair information and data on cars, commercial vehicles and agricultural tractors dating from 1948 to 1958, some to '59. Well over 1,000 different vehicle models are covered including miniture cars. Service data tables comprising of 90 different items of information for each model and they cover engine fits and clearances, oil pressure, torque settings firiing order, valve clearances, timing data, carburetter settings, ignition tune-up, distributor test data, along with brakes and linings, steering, front end alignment, suspension tyres, etc. 2,500 + illustrations, with 250 wiring diagrams, from over 40 experts, whose names appear on page 4. For years 48 -- '58, some to '59, books cover all all models of the following cars: A.C. , Alfa Romeo, Allard, Alvis, Armstrong Siddeley, Austin, Austin-Healey, Austin Lancer (Morris Major) Berkeley, Bond Minicar, Gristol, Citroen, Daimler, Fiat, Ford, Frisysport, Goggomobil, Hillman, Holden, Humber, Isetta, Jaguar, Jensen, Jowett, Land rover, Lea-Francis, M.G. Incomplete Chart set has 22 of the 24 charts, missing #2 and #18 but with all the tuning carburettor charts (Senith, Solex, S.U. Stromberg, Holley, ) and both the Rover Gas turbine and the Chrysler Gas Turbine charts.
