In the publisher's original roan-backed paper covered boards. Externally, sound. Slight rubbing and bumping to extremities resulting in minor loss to paper and roan. Rubbing to boards. Slight discolouration to extremities. One or two minor marks to boards. Previous owner' contemporary ink inscription and small doodle to front paste down, dated 1820. Internally, firmly bound. Slight strain to lower extremities of hinges of the odd page. Pages generally bright and clean if characteristically age toned. The odd light spot, heavier to first and last few leaves. Slight offsetting from plates to facing pages. Light green colouring to frontispiece. Good.
