Next of Kin

As far as she was concerned, Kate Benson’s father had been dead to her for years. Then came the call that she needed to return to Deer Creek, New York because he was dying and listed her as next of kin. Mistakes from her father’s past resurfaced and now Kate’s life is also threatened.
Rumor has it her father found God, but could Tom Benson ever change? Returning to her hometown meant more than facing the father who drank away her childhood. Kate would have to see Dan Tyler, her first love whom she had abandoned seven years ago.
Can Kate put aside her anger and hatred to do what is right? Is it possible for her to forgive her father after all those years? Could Kate discover a Father in God, unlike any earthly father? As danger closes in, Kate may end up paying the price for her father’s sins.
Next of Kin is the first book of the Deer Creek Chronicles series.
