The Next Lesson

The Next Lesson is a spiritual concept and includes a daily practice journal. This book is simple in concept but profound in application. It is intended to inspire healing on a very deep level and to be useful to those of both religious and nonreligious orientations. The main goal is to catalyse a shift in perspective with the hardships of life. I refer to "the point of integration" as the moment when a patient shifts from victimization of their problems, where they are exhausted and demoralized, to an experience of meaning. They begin to trust that there is a lesson to be learned that is part of a bigger plan designed to serve in a way still yet to be revealed.

Dr. Cassone began his career over twenty years ago using lifestyle modifications and nutritional therapies with a goal of reducing chronic illness and ultimately improving the quality of life for those he served. Today, he holds two master's degrees in health sciences, a doctorate in nutrition, and is currently pursuing a second doctorate in integrative medicine (DAOM). He has effectively treated patients from all over the world. Dr. Cassone is a licensed Primary Care provider in the state of California. "As a scientist and a researcher, it has been my life's work to sort effectual from ineffectual treatment models. As a doctor, it is my art to investigate the complex origins of each patient's condition and to apply techniques of corrective physiology. It is only by understanding and treating the root cause that long term health is possible." - Dr. Cassone
