Night Letter

The year is 1936. FranklinD. Roosevelt is lying on the grass in a secluded grove with his secretary-mistress, Missy LeHand. The two are clasped in a lovers' embrace. Behind the shrubbery, a man is taking photos . . . Four years later in 1940, John Jackson, special White House intelligence agent, is ordered to stop a ruthless Nazi spymaster from delivering the lethal negatives into the hands of American traitors ready to launch a savage blackmail campaign against Roosevelt - and all of the free world. It is a deadly mission that carries him on a perverse trail of treason and corruption into the most sacrosanct circles of British society, the halls of the U.S. Congress, the corridors of the F.B.I., and the offices of America's industrial barons. Just one mistake would reveal President Roosevelt's illicit romance to the world - and destroy his power to stop Hitler from winning the war against the Allies.
