This is the limited Advance Reader's Edition state - often referred to as an Advance Reading Copy, Uncorrected Proof, or ARC - fast becoming an attractive "collectible", as it precedes the First Edition. Two former lovers with a secret, a wedding, a mining disaster, and other elements intermingle in this novel of life in a tiny Alabama mining town. 230 pages. CONDITION: a bright, tight, square, unmarked, uncreased copy with negligible shelf-wear - just a tiny dot on the page-block top. This handsome, collectible copy is now in a clear, protective polypropylene bag.
