Night Zero: Volume Two

Following the success of Volume One, the Night Zero team again redefines the photographic novel with the release of their second collected volume. The groundbreaking photographic novel of the post-apocalypse, Night Zero is a Seattle-based team of actors, writers, photographers, and artists who produce comics of the zombie-infested end of the world. Shot entirely on location with the full cast and crew of a feature film, and rendered digitally using HDR imaging, the Night Zero comics are unlike anything ever produced. Night Zero: Volume Two contains five unique comics of the post-apocalypse, including

• Jezebel - a vignette of three friends who must survive each other to survive the apocalypse
• Quarantine - the second issue of the ongoing serial comic, where sabotage threatens the struggling society forged in the wake of the zombie war
• House Calls - the third issue of the serial comic, where alliances are made and betrayed as factions and leaders plot for power in the new world
• Untitled - a standalone story of love, loss, and redemption after the end of the world
• Sisters - a vignette exploring the foundations of the survivors' new city and their struggles against the anarchists outside their domain
...as well as director's notes, behind-the-scenes photos, and Brothers in Arms, a short story prequel to the Sisters vignette.

Anthony van Winkle spends most of his free time directing, stage managing, or teching film and theater productions around the Seattle area. In late 2007 he created the Night Zero project, which has since grown to encompass more than four hundred local artists and produced more than two thousand photos for its post-apocalyptic graphic novel.
