War of the Nine Clans Expanded Edition (Shogunate of the Stars)

The war has already begun.
This edition shows you everything beneath the surface.

The Expanded Edition of War of the Nine Clans is the definitive version of the Shogunate of the Stars flagship campaign. It builds on the core saga with deeper lore, broader choice, and sharper consequences, giving Game Masters the tools to run a truly epic space-opera campaign where honour, politics and warframes collide.

Set during the collapse of a galactic feudal empire, this campaign thrusts your table into a civil war engineered from within. Nine powerful clans, each bound by tradition and rivalry, are drawn into open conflict while a hidden enemy exploits every fracture. Your players are not spectators. They are catalysts.

This expanded volume includes:

• The full three-act War of the Nine Clans campaign, refined and expanded for smoother play

• Deeper clan lore, philosophies, rivalries and internal fractures

• Additional encounters, side missions and political complications to personalise the war

• Expanded warframe and starship options, including upgrades, doctrines and narrative abilities

• GM-only secrets, including the true shape of the conspiracy and alternate endgame paths

• Clear guidance for scaling, branching outcomes and long-term consequences

This is a campaign where:

• Duels can avert fleet battles

• Mercy can be more dangerous than violence

• Victory without honour may doom the future anyway

Written for 5e groups who want cinematic action without heavy subsystems, War of the Nine Clans – Expanded Editionfocuses on momentum, story and meaningful choice. Every decision reshapes alliances. Every failure changes the political map. No two campaigns end the same way.
