About the Author

William A. Draves, CAE, is an internationally recognized teacher, author and consultant and President of LERN. He is one of the most quoted experts on lifelong learning and online learning by the US media, including "The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, Wall STreet Journal, National Public Radio, NBC Nightly News and Wired.com. Bill holds a masters degree in adult education from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and has authored six books. <P>Julie Coates is editor of Course Trends Magazine. She attended N. C. State University, Cornell University, and earned her masters degree in public administration and adult education from Kansas State University. She is a well-known authority on demographics and marketing lifelong learning programs. She teaches online courses as part of a graduate program with the University of South Dakota.
