First uniform edition. Bound in the publisher's green cloth, with bumping and fading to the spine ends and joints, the corners bumped. Occasional light marks to the boards. The binding is a little loose at the hinges, else firm; pages are bright. A good early edition of Orwell's important dystopian novel.
