A scarce issue of War, a fortnightly pamphlet for authorised personnel. Scarce work. Illustrated with three maps. A fortnightly pamphlet issued to the British Army during the Second World War to promote discussion among soldiers regarding current affairs and post-war reconstructions. This issue, no. 96, contains an article entitles The Road to Rangoon by Major Ernest Watkins, a war staff writer. In the original paper wraps. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear and a contemporary ink inscription to the front page. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd handling mark. Very Good Indeed.
