A clean and crisp hardback copy, but with a few fairly minor flaws: there is a crease and some rubbing to the top right-hand corner of the upper cover, and a small patch of rubbing in the top right-hand corner of the lower cover-where it meets the head of the spine. There is also a small, old-looking private book plate at the top of the front paste-down. The blue boards are clean, the hinges and joints are sound and secure and the contents are clean and fresh. The dust jacket is in very tired condition, being creased, chipped and rubbed at the extremities, with a few areas of loss, most notably at the head and tail of the spine. A previous private owner has also embossed his name on the jacket at the top of the upper cover. Overall, a good hardback copy, but with a crease in the top right-hand corner of the upper cover, and protected by a dust jacket which has some loss. This item will be properly packed.
