Non-Existence of Projectile Forces in Nature: A Paper Read Before the American Institute, March, 1872 (Classic Reprint)

This book presents a novel theory challenging the long-held belief in the existence of a projectile force in the universe, which has puzzled scientists for centuries and served as a cornerstone of our understanding of celestial motion. The author argues that no such force exists and that the continuous motion of heavenly bodies can be explained by the laws of magnetic attraction and the "universal law of precession," which ensures uninterrupted movement. Through detailed calculations, the author demonstrates that the Earth revolves around the Sun based on the circumference of the Moon's orbit, rather than an external propulsive force. This theory has profound implications for our understanding of the cosmos and challenges traditional assumptions about the nature of celestial mechanics, opening new avenues for scientific exploration.
