About the Author

Jie Huang is a Professor in the Department of Automation and Computer-Aided Engineering and Director of the Applied Control and Computer Laboratory at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He also holds a professorship at the South China University of Technology sponsored by the Cheung Kong Scholar Award Program, Ministry of Chinese Education. His research interests include nonlinear control theory and applications, industrial control and automation, scientific computing, Internet-based control, and guidance and control of flight vehicles. He has published over 100 papers in international journals and conference proceedings. Dr. Huang is a member of the Editorial Board of Communications in Information and Systems, Executive Editor of Control Theory and Applications, and Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control.
