El norte se desarrolla en un verano de los primeros ochenta, en Bilbao. Los gemelos adolescentes Igor e Iv�n se separan por primera vez en sus vidas. Iv�n pasa una temporada en un reformatorio, mientras Igor, solitario, se dedica a pintar paisajes suburbanos.

En sus recorridos Igor reencuentra a Aurora, una chica unos a�os mayor, y a Chavis, acordeonista enredado en negocios turbios, y juntos planean sacar alg�n rendimiento a las actividades pict�ricas de Igor. Comienzan las fiestas de agosto y la ciudad despoblada del verano despierta de su letargo. El regreso de Iv�n, que ha huido del internado en compa��a de Fanny, desencadenar� los acontecimientos...

Los protagonistas de El norte son j�venes que se encuentran y vuelven a separarse, arrastrando la soledad y la violencia de unos a�os de incertidumbre... About the Author

As�s Lazcano se traslad� a Madrid en 1981 con su familia. Durante unos a�os trabaj� como periodista, actividad que abandon� para dedicarse a la literatura. Es autor de dos novelas, Las calles del aire (2003) y La sombra del anarquista (2006), y de numerosos reportajes y trabajos de cr�tica repartidos en distintas publicaciones. Actualmente vive en un pueblo entre Madrid y Guadalajara y trabaja como vigilante de incendios forestales.
