When Milly invites her best friend Cora to the family cabin way up in the Northwoods, she thought the week would be filled with swimming, canoeing, and exploring. Instead, her beloved dog Angus runs away, and the girls must fight the clock to find him so he can take his vital medicine. If that wasn't bad enough, Milly and Cora learn that a wealthy developer plans to clearcut the lake's pristine forest, putting all the family cabins around the lake in jeopardy, not to mention the wildlife. About the Author

Martha Klopp grew up in Duluth, Minnesota where she went to Marshall School. She attended University of Colorado at Boulder then transferred to St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota to complete her degree in Exercise Science. She ran cross country and track throughout college and continues to enjoy running. A year after graduation, Martha married her college sweetheart, Dan. Now, Martha and Dan have four kids: three identical triplet girls (they were born as quadruplets... if you want to read about that adventure you can check out Martha's old blog www.thekloppquads.blogspot.com), one boy, and two yellow labs. As a family, they love spending time at their families' cabins, traveling when they can, and playing sports. Martha is excited to keep on writing and sharing stories!
